My "Eco" mission to Deer creek park (AKA, The Quarry), in Rocklin, California. This old granite quarry is home to many large, featured boulders that are frequently used for rock climbing. It is also unfortunately home to a large accumulation of trash, left behind mostly by disrepectful, careless partyers. I decided to take it upon myself and clean up the area and go for a quick climb as well. The majority of trash i found consisted of beer bottles, cans, boxes , rubber profilatics and various forms of plastics. Alot of the trash was piled in hard to reach locations in between the many boulders throughout the area. At the end of the day i was not suprised that i had managed to fill two extra large trash bags.
